Simon has specialised in disability design for 25 years. He has designed GP surgeries, Primary Heath Care buildings, Mental health resource centres and private housing for people with complex disability needs.

The knowledge and experience Simon has gained has enabled him to understand the complexities of designing for disabled people. People with profound disabilities re likely to require the following disability accommodation:

  • Carer’s suites

  • Therapy rooms

  • Sensory rooms

  • En-suite bathrooms or wet rooms

  • Utility and medical storage rooms

Simon is appointed by solicitors to provide Part 35 accommodation reports for the Court. He is often retained post claim to design, project manage and deliver adapted housing. This will often involve providing the disability rooms listed above as well as:

  • Wheelchair or perching stool kitchens

  • Access to properties by way of ramps or external step lifts

  • Raised patios and car ports
