Simon Duffy is an expert witness specialising in disability design and in providing Part 35 accommodation reports in cases of clinical negligence and personal injury.

Simon has provided reports on a complex range of disabilities and is particularly interested in military cases.

Simon has been instructed on over 500 cases. His percentage split can vary - Defendant 55%; Claimant 40%; Joint 5%.

Simon has worked in the UK and Ireland and has also been appointed on cases in Poland, Denmark, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isles of Scilly. He consequently has experience of costing his reports in different jurisdictions and currencies.

Simon has designed and project managed schemes in which a Claimant has purchased a property and had it adapted and extended for their disability needs. Simon is also an experienced designer of larger medical buildings such as GP surgeries and Primary health care.
